Senior’s Health
Good health in later life is about staying independent and doing what you enjoy. We help you protect both, year after year.
- Preventive Care
Independence is a health outcome. We treat it that way
The health risks that matter most after 65 — falls, medication interactions, memory change, isolation, undetected heart and kidney disease — are all things a GP can screen for and act on early. Continuity matters here more than at any other age: five GPs, one practice, and 25 years of knowing our patients.
If you’re 75 or over, you’re eligible for an annual Medicare-funded health assessment — a longer, structured appointment with our nurse and doctor covering your physical health, medications, memory, mobility, hearing, vision and how you’re managing at home. It regularly picks up issues before they become crises.
We also conduct medication reviews (many older patients take five or more medicines — interactions are common and fixable), manage chronic condition care plans, keep vaccinations current including shingles and pneumococcal, and help with My Aged Care referrals when extra support at home would help.

Frequently asked questions
What is a 75+ health assessment?
An annual, Medicare-funded structured assessment for patients 75 and over, covering physical health, medications, memory, mobility and daily living. It takes longer than a normal visit and is one of the most valuable appointments of the year.
Can you help me get home support services?
Yes. Your nurses can refer you to My Aged Care and provide the supporting information for assessments — for cleaning, personal care, home modifications or respite.
I take a lot of medications. Is that a problem?
It can be. Taking five or more medicines increases the risk of interactions and side effects. Book a medication review — deprescribing, where safe, often improves how people feel.
Which vaccines do seniors need?
Annual flu (free over 65), plus shingles and pneumococcal vaccines funded at qualifying ages. Your GP will check your history and bring everything up to date.

I have been a patient at this medical practice since it opened in 2023. The receptionists are wonderful in providing my wife and myself with medical and specialists appointments and the doctors and nurses have been very supportive to both of us. A big thank you to all.Posted on Google![]()
